Issuance Inc. Announces Partnership with Prime Trust, a Crypto-Custodial Service
Issuance, a digital security platform, has just unveiled a new partnership with Prime Trust. Prime Trust is a blockchain-based company focused on compliance and custody for digital assets.
There are a few issues that the security token industry must grapple with before digital assets are commonplace: these include the questions regarding trust, custody, and compliance. Issuance, a security token marketing platform, has taken on these questions by bringing in experts from Prime Trust to better the necessary resources for advisory and marketing services.
The strategic partnership between Issuance and Prime Trust will address the “weak points of the industry,” according to Darren Marble, CEO of Issuance. Prime Trust was brought on board to address the problems of trust and custody currently present in the security token space. The partnership will also focus on makes security tokens more accessible with greater access to capital as well, according to the announcement.
Making Security Tokens Accessible
Prime Trust has a wide range of solutions that will easily be integrated into Issuance’s existing security token infrastructure. Their solutions range from “custody to escrow services, the handling of investment transactions, and support as a qualified third-party trustee for tokenized assets.”
Prime Trust remains one of the most-respected custodial service in the world for Ethereum-based tokens, but they also offer custody for all tokens on the Stellar blockchain. Recently, the company has also expanded their custodial services to include Polymath’s new ST-20 token standard which indicates that Prime Trust is deeply invested in the growing security token space.
With the help of Prime Trust, Issuance will be able to ensure a greater level of security and make the process of investing in tokenized securities significantly easier. Currently, Issuance provides strategic advice and marketing services for issuers of security tokens. They also raise capital for security token offerings which go on to trade on the OpenFinance Network ATS, the first regulated digital securities trading platform in the US.
The strategic partnership between Prime Trust and Issuance is yet another indication that the security token space is maturing as more and more established firms take on the responsibilities of compliance, custody and trust in the security token world.
