In what experts are calling potentially the “largest IT outage in history,” cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWD) is facing mounting pressure following a catastrophic software update that wreaked havoc across global industries.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, July 19, 2024, resulted in widespread system failures affecting an estimated 8.5 million Windows devices worldwide.
